Over many years, we have built up strong relationships with manufacturing partners offshore. PCB assembly is frequently handled by our partners when we need to manufacture high volumes of less complex design, and we will always propose that manufacturing is handled offshore if it would provide a lower cost, acceptable option for our client. In many cases, we split a client's portfolio between UK and offshore manufacturing according to demand and complexity of each product.

Generally, products are first produced at Cogent Technology. We can then transfer to offshore manufacture with the benefit of our experience, and continue production as the products end of life approaches and volume falls.
