For manufacturing projects our 'open book' policy allows you to see our purchase price for each individual component prior to adding any margin. You will be able to review detailed assembly times, right down to individual component placement time, with the team at Cogent Technology.

Our purchasing team uses Cogent Technology's purchasing power and network of suppliers to obtain the best component pricing for your product and overcome sourcing issues.

When you contact Cogent Technology to tell us about your particular manufacturing project, it would be useful to have the following information available, as you will probably be asked to supply it:

• PCB Gerber data
• Annual volume requirements and batch sizes
• Assembly drawings
• Manufacturing workmanship standard
• Test specifications
• Electronic bill of material (Microsoft Excel preferred) detailing manufacturers' part numbers, quantity used, alternatives, circuit references and so on
